Mario Ascencio moved on Saturday, April 12 that REFORMA hire a graphic designer to develop our logo, business card template, letter head, and #10 envelopes.  Please vote Yes, No, or Abstain by no later than Friday, April 18, 2008 5pm (Pacific Standard Time)

Why is voting taking place online?

During the year, the REFORMA Executive Committee votes on issues that come up.  The voting takes place online and eliminates the need to wait until ALA Annual and/or ALA Midwinter.

Who's on the REFORMA Executive Committee?

There are nine members on the Executive Committee; the President, Vice-President/President Elect, Immediate Past-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Member at Large, and the three Chapter Representatives are all on Executive Committee.

What has the Executive Committee voted on?

• Vote to accept CPA proposal brought forward by Immediate Past-President, Roxana Benavides, to assist REFORMA file IRS forms.

  8 Yes, 0 No, 0 Abstain, 1 Did not vote - 9/14/07.

• On Tuesday, July 10, Mario Ascencio moved that REFORMA support one REFORMA member to the ALA Emerging Leader program with a $1,000.  Votes are due Friday, July 13 at 5pm (PST)  7 YES, 0 NO, 0 Abstain, 2 Did not vote - 07/16/07.
